Topshelf was formed with the desire of providing a quality Mulitsport race series for the Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois region. Top Shelf will be producing four multisport races for this season. Two duathlons and two triathlons.  Topshelf is in the planning stages for two more races for next season. Our mission is to provide  a quality race experience at an affordable price.
   
 
 
 
JEFF CASTRO
The founder of Top Shelf,  has competed in countless Triathlons, running races and USCF cycling events. Jeff is a former All-American wrestler and 4 time All-American Triathlete,  twice finishing in the top 100 at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Castro has a B.S. in Health & Human Performance and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He runs a Chiropractic clinic as well as owning Accu-split Timing Company and is married with two children.
